Another study shows that Oxytocin reduces social anxiety

Swedish and British scientists have shown using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) that the hormone oxytocin can inhibit feelings of anxiety in specific individuals. It seems the scientific research is mounting now.  At the very least, surely the government should be putting some serious money now into research programs specifically in terms of using Oxytocin as a treatment for these devastating psychiatric problems.
